About
Vana
Where I’m based:
The snug is nestled within the glorious Rownhams House, a welcoming and warm environment overlooking the magical walled gardens.
What is Vana Life?
Vana Life pulls together all of my experience from the past twenty years. Maybe it could be summed up in these few, simple words.Finding balance
Earth
Freedom
Joy
Coming away from your head space, dropping below the thoughts and the seriousness of life, and finding a new freshness within you.Why Vana?
The name Vana was birthed in the foothills of the Himalayas whilst at a yoga retreat hosted by Saadho which means to seek or seeker. I had been struggling to find a name suitable for my business when Anish, the founder of Saadho mentioned the word Vana. Boom my heart skipped a beat. Vana is Sanskrit for forest or fragrance which ties in with the therapies I offer. Earthy , Fragrant , rich in nature and a platform for growth.Credentials

Our Clients Say
It’s now 6 years since I first started going to Louise for deep tissue massages. I didn’t realise that having regular treatments could benefit both my mind and my body. Visiting Louise has helped me recover from injuries and anxiety by making me more aware of myself and being able to take time out in a peaceful location. I just wish I could visit more often!

By far the best massage I have ever had. Louise mixes relaxation and treatment with expert knowledge to ensure that you leave feeling refreshed and calm whilst knowing that those painful knots have been dealt with. I feel the effects of her treatment for weeks after and will always return for more.

I have known Louise for approximately 12 years. I have a full body massage every month and am always so relaxed and yet revitalised after a visit. Louise is so caring and compassionate and always makes you feel so relaxed. I would recommend Louise to anyone. Over the years Louise has been a great support to me and I am so grateful for all the advice and for the laughs.

I have been having massage treatments with Louise for many years and, having had massages all over the world, including the Far East, I have found very few who are of Louise’s standard. Louise is a highly professional therepist with exceptional massage skills which can be adapted to suit my needs, and her blended oils are divine and make me unwind as soon as I enter the room.
Jane
I have been going to Louise for massages for several years. She gives me a back and shoulder massage that helps enormously with a lower back problem and with releasing tension in my neck and shoulders therefore avoiding migraines. Louise is excellent at adjusting her massage style to fit with what is required at each session. She also gives me great advice about stretches and yoga moves that help my problems. Rownhams house is a lovely, peaceful location for a massage and it’s quick and easy to get to from central Southampton.
